CPJRC Participated in Pakistan's Disaster Early Warning Technology Expo (DEWTE 2025)

From December 9 to 11, Pakistan National Disaster Early Warning Technology Expo (DEWTE 2025), organized by NDMA of Pakistan, was held in Islamabad.
CPJRC was invited to participate, prominently showcasing the jointly developed "Disaster Early Warning Platform", promoting both CPJRC and related scientific achievements in disaster prevention and reduction. The joint developing "Disaster Early Warning Platform" highlighted the deep cooperation and innovation capabilities between China and Pakistan in the fields of earth sciences and disaster prevention, attracting significant attention at the event.
The Expo focused on cutting-edge technologies in disaster prevention, reduction, and early warning, bringing together numerous experts, scholars, and innovation teams from research institutions, universities, and technology enterprises. Finance Minister of Pakistan Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives of Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal attended the Expo respectively.
This expo was not only a platform for showcasing scientific and technological achievements but also demonstrated Pakistan’s strong national commitment to using technological innovation to strengthen disaster risk management and safeguard lives and property. The active participation of CPJRC also contributed significantly to promoting China-Pakistan cooperation in disaster prevention and sharing scientific and technological advancements.
