Two Scientists from CPJRC Awarded the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022

Recently, Stanford University, America, has released the List of World’s Top 2% Scientists 2022. From China-Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Sciences (aka., CPJRC), Prof. Cui Peng, Academician of Chinese Academy of Science, Director-General of CPJRC, was included in both the “Career-long Science Impact Ranking List” and the “2022 Single-year Science Impact Ranking List”, and Prof. Yu Fangwei, scientist from the third major research field of CPJRC, was also included in the “2022 Single-year Science Impact Ranking List”.

The list of World’s Top 2% Scientists, based on the Scopus database - the largest one in the world, is co-released by Elsevier Publishing Group and Prof. John P.A. loannidis team from Stanford University, America. The world’s top 2% scientists were selected based on the scientific influence of their academic achievements, with the purpose to objectively reflect their academic influence and outstanding contributions over the world.

CPJRC aims to address the scientific and technological issues facing the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), build a national platform for China-Pakistan science and education cooperation, and a comprehensive and open research center covering countries in South Asia, Central Asia, West Asia and North Africa to support international scientific and technological cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. The CPJRC scientists awarded the World’s Top 2% scientists, demonstrates their international scientific influence and outstanding contributions over the world, which constantly consolidates the foundation to build CPJRC as an international first-class institution.
